Trevor Lee And Ricochet Have Hilarious Exchange Over WWE No Longer Fining For Weed

Trevor Lee and Ricochet found some “common ground” regarding WWE’s former policy on testing for marijuana.

The former Cameron Grimes was putting over strength and conditioning at the WWE Performance Center, which was a thinly-veiled reference to a report claiming some recent WWE releases were cut due to their perceived laziness.

“I thought the strength and conditioning done at the Performance Center was very beneficial,” Lee wrote on X (formerly Twitter), adding: “This is coming from someone who’s in the best shape of his career and passed every drug test. Well except for weed.”

Ricochet chimed in with a lighthearted response, saying the fines were “worth it lol” only for Trevor to reveal WWE already had a no-fine policy for weed in place by the time he joined the company, hinting it was due to noted marijuana enthusiast Matt Riddle’s arrival.

Earlier this year, Michin confirmed that WWE took marijuana off of its banned substances list. However, it’s worth noting that she confirmed this happened “a couple of years ago,” although it wasn’t promoted publicly until recently.

Ricochet wasn’t convinced, to say the least. Check out the full exchange below:

Ricochet says WWE ruined his love for wrestling

Ricochet may have a multi-year stint with WWE, but The One and Only doesn’t seem to have fond memories of the place.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion recently responded to a fan attributing Ricochet’s departure to lack of title opportunities under the Triple H regime.

“No, the main reason was that the WWE ruined my love and passion for the sport that I grew up loving. AEW helped me find that love again,” he replied.
