Nick Comoroto reflects on his AEW in-ring return after surgery.
Comoroto made his AEW in-ring on the April 30 episode of Dynamite, where he teamed with Rhett Titus and Myles Hawkins in a losing effort against The Opps. This was Comoroto’s first match in nearly a year as he’d been out of action due to hip surgery.
Comoroto took to X (formerly Twitter) to comment on his return to active competition. The post featured a photo of Comoroto standing next to Titus and Hawkins from last week’s Dynamite.
“It wasn’t long but getting back in the ring last night felt amazing. I was on one leg for two years, I could barely walk, but I kept pushing through. After I got under the knife there was so much I had to do to get back to where I was. I got cleared that afternoon. #AEWDynamite,” he posted.
Nick Comoroto underwent a hip resurface procedure in August 2024. His final appearance prior to going under the knife was against Lee Johnson at the August 11, 2024 ROH taping in Arlington, Texas.
Comoroto has been with AEW since October 2020. He made his debut on AEW Dark against Darby Allin, and has appearances on Dynamite and Ring Of Honor. During his tenure, he was part of QT Marshall’s “The Factory” stable.
