AEW Collision Results:
This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with TNT Champion Adam Cole coming to the ring to join the commentary team.
AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match: Timeless Toni Storm (w/ Luther) vs. Lady Frost
- The finish of the match saw Toni Storm lock Lady Frost in the TCM Chicken Wing to score the submission victory.
Winner: Timeless Toni Storm
After the match, Toni Storm cuts a promo with so much innuendo that I’m not going to type here. She’s too much! Haha!

Fun opening match. Storm and Frost worked very well together. It would have been nice had it been a bit longer, but with six matches scheduled for tonight’s show, they really didn’t have much more time than what they got.
Jon Moxley sends threats towards Samoa Joe ahead of their cage match at Beach Break
Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir are backstage. Moxley hypes up his match against Samoa Joe later this month at the Beach Break special of Dynamite. Moxley compares Samoa Joe to Bryan Danielson. Mox says he’s not scared of Joe and hopes that he’s thought things through.

$100,000 High Speed Collision Four-Way: RUSH vs. Sammy Guevara (w. Dustin Rhodes) vs. AR Fox vs. Kevin Knight
- The finish of the match saw Sammy Guevara hit AR Fox with GTH to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Sammy Guevara
After the match, Guevara pointed at TNT Champion Adam Cole, who’s still on commentary.
Grade: B+
This was also a fun match. I think Sammy Guevara winning this match was a surprise to pretty much everyone. But with Knight and RUSH fighting away from the match late to turn it into a one-on-one, it became pretty obvious who was going to win. I’m not really sure Guevara and Cole for the TNT Title is a program fans are clamoring for, but I guess we’ll see.
Samoa Joe responds to Jon Moxley
We get a vignette from Samoa Joe responding to Jon Moxley. Joe can hype up a match better than anyone when it comes to making you believe that there’s no way he can lose. It’s obvious that Moxley isn’t dropping that title on an episode of Dynamite, but Joe makes you believe that’s something that could actually happen. You can check out the vignette below:

We get a hype package for the two-out-of-three falls match later on tonight between FTR and Paragon. It’s confirmed that the match will be tonight’s main event.

Megan Bayne (w/ Penelope Ford) vs. Harley Cameron
- The finish of the match saw Megan Bayne hit Harley Cameron with Fate’s Descent to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Megan Bayne
After the match, Bayne and Ford continued their attack on Cameron until Anna Jay hit the ring and attacked Bayne with a 2×4.
Anna Jay to the rescue, but that just made Megan Bayne more angry!

This was a surprisingly competitive bout. I’m a big fan of Cameron, but I honestly expected a squash here. Cameron got a lot in and really only lost due to the numbers game. The potential pairing of Jay and Cameron is interesting, but I really thought this storyline would be the perfect opportunity to bring Tay Conti back.
We hear from Jon Moxley… again
Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir come to the ring. Moxley says he heard what Samoa Joe had to say earlier and wants to know what he doesn’t understand. Moxley just drones on with a long promo that made me want to take a nap instead of pay attention. We did NOT need two Moxley promos in one night. This was very much overkill.
Jon Moxley doesn't mince words in responding to Samoa Joe!

Josh Alexander vs. Brody King
- The finish of the match saw Brody King hit Josh Alexander with the Gonzo Bomb, but Alexander rolled out of the ring as time expired.
Winner: Time Limit Draw
After the match, Lance Archer came to ringside as the crowd chanted for five more minutes. King attacked both men but was overwhelmed by the numbers game and taken down.
Grade: A-
This was the best thing on the show so far, and boy was it needed after that pointless Moxley promo. I really hope King gets some sort of push in the future where he racks up a bunch of wins because that man deserves it. Alexander is a beast and was a perfect signing for AEW. A time limit draw was kind of the perfect booking for both men that, in my opinion, really couldn’t afford a loss this evening.
Max Caster comes out and issues another open challenge. It’s answered by former TNT Champion Daniel Garcia.
Daniel Garcia vs. Max Caster
- The finish of the match saw Daniel Garcia hit Max Caster with a piledriver and beat him in under a minute.
Winner: Daniel Garcia
After the match, Daniel Garcia called out FTR and said he handled his business tonight, and they handle theirs later, and then they will talk.
Grade: A+
Gotta love a classic Max Caster squash. That will always get an A+ from me.
What’s next for Anthony Bowens?
Backstage, Lexy Nair is with Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn. They are interrupted by Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. Christian says Bowens might have beaten him the other week, but he outshined him. Lee Johnson says since Blake softened him up, he knows he can take him down. Bowens says he’ll take on Johnson anytime, anywhere.

Gates of Agony vs. Ray Chaz and Goldy
- A quick squash match win over a couple of enhancement talents.
Winners: Gates of Agony
After the match, Big Bill and Bryan Keith appear on the Tron and call them out to fight in the parking lot.
Grade: N/A
This is the quickest a losing team from The Hurt Syndicate has returned to television. Feels like it was done just to give Bill and Keith another win, but I guess we’ll see.
A very quick parking lot brawl
As we return from commercial break, Gates of Agony meet Big Bill and Bryan Keith in the parking lot. No one wins the fight as cameras cut away to head back to ringside for the main event.

Two Out of Three Falls: FTR (w/ Stokely Hathaway) vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong
First Fall: The finish of the first fall saw Kyle O’Reilly catch Dax Harwood in a grapevine anklelock and got him to tap out.
Second Fall: The finish of the second fall saw FTR hit Shatter Machine on Roderick Strong. Harwood scores the second fall for his team to tie things up.
Third Fall: Paragon had the third fall won, but Stokely put FTR’s foot on the ropes. This allowed things to continue, and FTR hit Kyle O’Reilly with a Shatter Machine to win the match.
Winners: FTR
Grade: A
After the match, Daniel Garcia comes to the ring with a crowbar. Garcia says he wanted to beat them all with it, but he can’t do it. Garcia says he needs answers and knows he can’t get them by talking to them, so he challenges one of them to meet him in the ring next week, and he’ll beat the answers out of them as AEW Collision goes off the air.
AEW Collision Review:
This show was a tale of two hours. The first hour wasn’t that great overall. The wrestling in the second hour really saved this show, and it was enough to give this show a respectable grade. There have been many better Collisions this year, but overall it was still a fun show.
Grade: B+
