What a difference a week makes for WWE when it comes to the ongoing storyline between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair.
Last week, those within WWE management were less than pleased with Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton going off script during their in-ring segment on SmackDown. However, it appears that one week later, everything is smooth sailing once again.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), WWE officials were happy with how Stratton and Flair worked together following last week’s ordeal.
The two women filmed a parking lot attack angle before the show and then had a brawl on SmackDown hours later after Stratton’s match with Roxanne Perez.
Sapp reports the ringside segment was “very stiff,” but everything was okay afterward, and those backstage confirm that everything went as planned this week.
Tiffany Stratton is scheduled to defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair on night one of WrestleMania 41 later this month.
