WWE announced during Monday’s episode of WWE RAW that the transfer window for the company would be closing this weekend, putting an end to any brand swaps for the time being.
Michael Cole made the announcement on commentary. He mentioned it while he was saying that Zelina Vega was being moved to Friday Night SmackDown. He said that the window will end Royal Rumble weekend. This gives stars only a few more days to be able to be moved from brand to brand.
The WWE transfer window first opened in December. Since then, stars like Bayley, Grayson Waller, Austin Theory, Damian Priest, The Miz, Braun Strowman, and Vega have changed brands.
It’s unclear if any further moves will take place, but with one more WWE show left before Saturday’s Royal Rumble, it’s likely that we’re still in store for some more surprises.
