AEW Dynamite saw a decrease in viewership on December 25 for their pre-taped Dynamite on 34th Street special.
According to Programming Insider (via Wrestlenomics), 574,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and the show drew a 0.18 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode when 625,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.19 rating in the same demographic.
AEW Dynamite ranked #2 in primetime on cable. Dynamite was up against the Lakers vs. Warriors game on ABC and ESPN in primetime, which averaged 2,996,000 viewers and a 1.00 P18-49 rating on ESPN. On ABC, the game averaged an additional 4,845,000 viewers and a 1.32 P18-49 rating.

This week’s show kicked off with Will Ospreay defeating Brody King in a Gold League Continental Classic match.
Toni Storm made her “AEW Dynamite in-ring debut” with a win over Taya Valkyrie.
Darby Allin and Ricochet went to a time-limit draw in a Gold League Continental Classic match.
The main event saw Kyle Fletcher defeat Daniel Garcia in a Blue League Continental Classic match. Will Ospreay came out to face off with Kyle Fletcher to close the show.
