Tony Khan Shares What He’s Looking Forward To In 2025

Tony Khan looks forward to 2025.

Later this month, All Elite Wrestling will close out 2024 with its second annual Worlds End pay-per-view. Beyond that, the company also looks ahead to a new year, with new opportunities that AEW President Tony Khan is especially excited for.

“[I’m looking forward to] the opportunity to keep having great shows like tonight on TBS, with Wednesday Night Dynamite every week and every Saturday on TNT, and then to the simulcast,” Khan told The Battleground Podcast. “I think AEW going on MAX streaming is going to be a great opportunity. It’s in millions of homes. It’s in a lot of homes where they don’t have cable anymore.”
“It’s great to be on TBS and TNT. They are absolutely staples of the cable industry. Like I said earlier, they’re staples of the pro wrestling business. TBS and TNT, those are channels you want to be on cable. But it’s also really important to be streaming,” Khan continued. “We’re going to be the first company ever, AEW will be the first to simulcast, to put the shows on cable and streaming at the same time. And that’s going to be a huge thing for AEW in 2025 and for many years to come.”

AEW’s integration with MAX comes as a part of a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery that will officially take effect in January 2025. As Khan mentioned, this agreement brings forth the ability to simulcast AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision on cable television and the MAX streaming service. AEW pay-per-views are also expected to be on the MAX platform at a discounted price later in 2025.
