STARDOM 5STAR Grand Prix Semi-finalists Confirmed

Following the quarterfinals at Shinjuku FACE, the field for the semi-final competitors in STARDOM’s 5 Star Grand Prix are now set. The quarterfinals marked the 5 Star Grand Prix’s transition from a round robin to a single elimination format featuring the top two competitors per block. Qualifying matches also took place prior to the quarterfinals to break ties within blocks.

Troy Gonzales discovered his passion for wrestling by playing the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 video game on the PlayStation Portable. After years as a wrestling enthusiast, he would then launch his YouTube channel “Joshi Journals” in 2023 to cover the niche of Japanese women’s wrestling.

Outside his work in wrestling media, Troy is currently taking up his undergraduate studies for a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
