Bayley has agreed to put her title on the line against Meiko Satomura.
WWE is currently on tour in Japan, and the three-show trip will conclude on July 26th. At the penultimate event, WWE Women’s Champion Bayley teamed up with Meiko Satomura, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill to defeat Damage CTRL (IYO SKY, Kairi Sane & Dakota Kai), and Tiffany Stratton.
After the match, Satomura challenged Bayley to a title match, and Bayley agreed to the bout. The match is set for July 27th.
In a tweet, Bayley commented on the news and wrote that it would be an absolute honor to face Satomura. She stated that she felt like she was having a WrestleMania dream match.
Meanwhile, Tokyo Sports recently reported that Satomura will be retiring from in-ring competition soon, and her last match will likely be in 2025.
