The Hardy Boyz Are Believers In Joe Hendry

Joe Hendry has gained fans in Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy since their return to TNA.

The Scottish wrestler has become one of the most popular wrestlers in the world recently. He managed to chart at number four in the UK Top 40 with his TNA entrance theme, while appearances in NXT have widened his reach in the wrestling world.

The Hardy Boyz spoke with Bill Apter on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, and were asked about their opinions on Joe Hendry.

Jeff Hardy answered first. He said he was a believer in Joe Hendry, and called him very talented and entertaining, both in the ring and on the guitar.

“I think he’s a really great guitar player. Just watching his entrances from back in the day, how funny and entertaining they are, and how talented he is overall—it’s amazing. I watched the podcast Matt had him on a while back and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this guy’s got it going on.’ So I totally understand; I’m a believer in Joe Hendry.”

Matt Hardy Compares Joe Hendry To Broken Matt

Matt Hardy then jumped in to give his view on Joe Hendry, and was equally complimentary.

He said that Hendry has been improving constantly in TNA, complimenting his charisma and understand of the wrestling business. Hardy also noted how viral Joe Hendry goes on social media, comparing him to the phenomenon that was “Broken” Matt Hardy.

“Even in these few weeks I’ve been here, I feel like he’s improving every single week in the ring. He’s tightening up his whole act, and he just has a ton of charisma. He gets the business and the entertainment aspect more than anyone else.”

“When it comes to his social media, he’s a social media guru. He knows exactly how to promote himself and do things that get people excited. He’ll make memes of himself, and I told him—I actually said this on air, which a lot of people saw—the night Jeff returned, he reminds me a lot of when I was first doing ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy and it was going viral with all these memes and gifs we were trying to get out of it. That’s what he’s doing, and he is really crossing over into more of a mainstream audience where people are like, ‘Hold up, I know this guy,’ and then he turns around and does the smile. He gets it.”
