WWE has signed Stephanie Vaquer, and fans have been waiting for Giulia’s move to the company for months. However, a new report states that another international star is not set to join the roster, despite rumors to the contrary.
Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that no deal or offer was discussed for Rhio, the PROGRESS Women’s World Champion, though she was invited to WWE Clash at the Castle as part of a group of talent who visited the Performance Center.
Brennan writes that Rhio would be open to an offer if it came, and she already had a US visa. The report notes that NXT sources indicated that they were focused on the additions of Giulia and Vaquer, though Rhio would not have been invited to the premium live event if the company was not interested.
Update On DELTA
Brennan also reports that, per NXT sources. Australian powerhouse DELTA impressed officials at her tryout when WWE visited Perth for WWE Elimination Chamber. The report cites sources in the Australian scene who shared their belief that she had signed, as she was heading overseas after wrapping up her dates. However, her signing has not been confirmed.
