Linda McMahon sings the praises of WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump.
Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon appeared at the Republican National Convention this evening. When talking about first meeting Trump when she worked at WWE, she credited him for having one of the most compelling and highest-rated storylines in the history of the company.
“I first met Donald Trump when I was the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment,” Linda McMahon said. “For fun, he became part of some of the most compelling and highest-rated storylines in the company’s history.”
For those unaware, back in 2007, there was a storyline between Donald Trump and Vince McMahon on WWE programming. It led to the battle of the billionaires at WrestleMania 23 where Bobby Lashley defeated Umaga and resulted in McMahon having his head shaved following the match.
After McMahon left, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the referee of the match hit Trump with a Stone Cold Stunner. You can watch that moment by clicking here.
