EC3 wants to get in the (mud) pit.
The NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion recently spoke to Wrestlezone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about his recent travels. EC3 recently completed successful title defenses in France and Italy, and he’s defended the “Ten Pounds Of Gold” in Australia and Japan too.
When asked if there was another continent or country he was itching to get to, EC3 named Uganda as a priority. Uganda’s Soft Ground Wrestling has caught the wrestling world’s attention for their dedication to the craft, and the promotion has received help from big names in the pro wrestling world such as Will Ospreay, Jordynne Grace and Cody Rhodes.
Now, EC3 says he would also like to compete in SGW, with a specific stipulation.
“I really want to get into those mud pits. Wrestling with the no ropes. I believe Cody bought them a ring though,” EC3 explained. “I want to get there before the ring shows up. I am 100% putting that into the atmosphere and manifesting that I do want to do that. But I mean, anywhere, in the… this dimension of Earth. I’ll defend it in Africa.”
EC3’s message to SGW
EC3 sent a message to Soft Ground Wrestling requesting a chance to wrestle in the mud pits. He also promised that he would be wearing his pay-per-view gear.
“Before your ring arrives, the NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion wants to come defend the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship in the Soft Ground Arena, or mud,” EC3 explained. “Regardless, I want to be there. And I will wear my pay-per-view gear.”
EC3 also said he’d love to visit Mexico and defend his title, as well as a few other destinations in South America like Brazil and Argentina.
