One of the biggest pay-per-views of TNA Wrestling is the Slammiversary pay-per-view. The event will be taking place on the 20th of July. The special event will be telecasted live from the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Following this week’s episode of Impact, two major championship matches have been announced for the event.
Jordynne Grace kicked off the show this week. As she was speaking, Ash By Elegance and her manager showed up. Elegance’s manager revealed that they had a word with their lawyers and have gotten the former WWE Superstar a title match for the TNA Knockouts Championship. The segment came to an end with Grace taking out all of Ash’s security.
Following the segment, TNA announced that Grace would defend her championship at the Slammiversary pay-per-view against Ash By Elegance.
“BREAKING: @JordynneGrace will defend the TNA Knockouts World Championship against @Ashamae_Sebera at #TNASlammiversary on July 20! Streaming LIVE on TNA+ from the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada!” TNA Wrestling tweeted.
Mustafa Ali to defend his TNA X-Division Championship at Slammiversary
Another key segment on Impact last night was Mustafa Ali’s State of the Union. As Ali was speaking, he got interrupted by “Speedball” Mike Bailey and this ended in a brawl. As a result, the two will battle each other in a one-on-one match for the X-Division Championship.
