AEW is coming to Wales.
All Elite Wrestling announced that the August 21 taping of AEW Dynamite will be held at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales. The event will also be a taping of AEW Collision.
This will mark AEW’s first television tapings held outside of North America. The company has held shows in Canada, as well as the All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium.
Tony Khan commented on the news in a press release. He noted that this will be a historic occasion for AEW.
“We are excited for the historic United Kingdom debuts of AEWL Dynamite and AEW: Collision in Wakes at Utilita Arena Cardiff on August 21,” Tony Khan said. “The event will serve as the perfect kick off to what will be an amazing week for AEW fans in the United Kingdom, culminating with All In London at Wembley Stadium on August 25.”
AEW star Will Ospreay expressed his excitement in a tweet.
