NXT Championship Number One Contender’s Battle Royal
The show starts with the field in the ring. TNA’s resident Sensation Joe Hendry’s music hits. Hendry walks to the ring and promises to win the battle royal and bring the title back to TNA. When he does, the entire world will chant that they believe in Joe Hendry!
Ethan Page is out next. Other notable TNA names include Frankie Kazarian. As Page gets in the ring, Page and Hendry go face-to-face. Oro Mensah appears and attacks Page. Both men fall out of the ring. The bell rings, and everyone attacks Hendry. Kazarian eliminated Hendry. As the field thins, the final four are Shawn Spears, Kazarian, Dragon Lee, and Je’Von Evans. Spears roller under the bottom rope. Evans sends Kazarian flying over the top rope after a vicious Irish whip. Lee and Evans are left in the ring.

Evans and Lee trade German suplexes. Lee lands a nasty sit-out powerbomb. Lee goes up top. Spears appears and pushes him to the floor. Lee has been eliminated. Spears and Lee trade shots. After a series of reversals, Evans sends Spears out to the apron with a lariat. Spears holds on and tries a springboard. Evans destroys him with a midair superkick. Evans tosses Spears over the top for the win!
Winner and NEW Number One Contender, Je’Von Evans!
Backstage, Fallon Henley gets into an argument with essentially every woman in the locker room over who should get a shot at the Women’s North American Championship next. Sol Ruca shakes her head, doesn’t engage, and walks away.
Backstage, Andre Chase, Thea Hail, and Duke Hudson give Ridge Holland a Chase U shirt. Gallows and Anderson make fun of Holland. Hudson and Chase step up and tell The OC if they have an issue with Holland, they have an issue with Chase U.
NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice vs. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson vs. Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nix
Jaybe caresses the clear face mask Cody Rhodes gave her last week. Three women in the ring at once. Legend picks up Perez and Jayne simultaneously and pinballs their heads between the ropes. Nyx gets the tag and drops Legend with a kick. Jackson breaks up the pin.

Perez traps Legend in a guillotine. Vice tags herself in and lands a flurry of kicks to Legend. Perez and Vice tag team Legend. Perez and Vice clear the ring. After the break, Vice drops Jackson with a 305 Back Fist. Perez tags herself in. Vice and Perez argue. Perez hits Pop Rocks on Jackson for the win.
Winners- Lola Vice and Roxanne Perez
Perez floors Vice with a spinning back fist of her own. Vice chuckles and tells Perez she messed up.
NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Michin
Jordan and Michin trade takedowns. Gallows and Anderson walk to ringside. Michin asks for a handshake. Jordan obliges, but Michin rolls her up for a quick two count. Jordan gets sent over the top and lands at Gallows feet. Michin tries a dive, but Jordan moves out of the way. Gallows catches Michin and sets her down. Jordan surprises Michin with a corkscrew dive. After the break, Jordan and Michin attempt crossbody block at the same time.
Jordan gets to her feet after her nasty collision with Michin. Jordan fires up and lands a modified X-factor for a near fall. Michin avoids Jordan’s Split-legged Moonsault. Michin lands a butterfly buster. Jordan kicks out. OTM walks to ringside. Michin goes up top. As the referee is distracted, Jaida Parker appears out of nowhere and pushes Michin off the top. Jordan lands the One of a Kind Moonsault for the win.
Winner and STILL NXT Women’s North American Champion, Kelani Jordan!
In-Ring Segment: NXT North American Champion Oba Femi
Femi says this is all too familiar. He is STILL the North American Champion. No matter who you put in front of him, the results remain the same. Femi dominated Wes Lee and Jor Coffey. Femi wants to know who could ever beat him for his title. Wes Lee interrupts. Lee wants a shot. Femi says Lee’s obsession is getting old. In the crowd, the security is seemingly restraining Brooks Jensen, who is trying to get down to the ring.

Femi walks away. Lee yells at Femi not to turn his back on him. Lee says Femi NEEDs to face him if he wants to be known as the greatest North American Champion of all time. Femi says he wants to erase Lee from the record books. He’ll give Lee a shot, but it’s the first and final time Lee will get to challenge him for the championship. Lee agrees.
Backstage, Charlie Dempsey offers Tavion a spot in the NQCC. Tavion accepts, but Dempsey is still in full on “Godfather” mode, so he tells Tavion he knew he’d play hardball. If Tavion wants a spot, he has to face Damon Kemp. Kemp is shocked. Dempsey tells Kemp that after his performance in the battle royal, he’s lucky, and this is all he’s being forced to do. Tavion says he’s in.
Fallon Henley vs. Carlee Bright w/ Kendal Grey
Bright and Henley trade strikes. Bright tries a few quick pinfalls. Henley tries a suplex, but Bright reverses it into a sleeper. Wendy Choo appears behind Grey at ringside. Choo puts Grey in a Cobra Clutch. Grey passes out. In the confusion, Henley lands a shining wizard for the win.
Winner- Fallon Henley
Chase U (Duke Hudson and Andre Chase) w/ Thea Hail and Ridge Holland vs. The OC
After a stiff back and forth, Hudson rolls up Anderson for the win. I could be wrong, but I think Holland put his hands on Husdson’s back to help hold Anderson down so Hudson can get the pin… hmm.
Winners- Chase U
Trick Williams is out next to join the commentary desk for the next match.
Backstage, Henley, Jayne, and Nyx all complain about not getting title shots.
Je’Von Evans vs. Ethan Page
Evans’ ribs are taped. Page immediately punches Evans in the gut. Page focuses his assault on Evans’ injured ribs. Evans counters the Ego’s Edge and lands a double stomp to Page’s ribs. Superkick by Evans. Page rolls out of the ring.
After the break, Page continues his assault. Evans fires up. Springboard kick by Evans. Evans tries a springboard, but Page hits him in the gut. DDT by Evans. Evans goes up top. Page cuts Evans off and drops him on the top rope. Ego’s Edge by Page. Page pins Evans.
Winner- Ethan Page
After the match, Page gets in Williams’ face at ringside. Shawn Spears hits the ring and attacks Evans. Williams hits the ring and attacks Evans. Williams makes the save. Page attacks Williams from behind. Evans appears out of nowhere and hits a double springboard cutter on Page and Spears. Everyone is down in the ring, with the NXT Championship between them.
