Former Major League Wrestling World Tag Team Champion Matt Justice, his tag team partner 1 Called Manders, and CozyMax have been in a feud with the entire CONTRA Unit. Their rivalry escalated to a whole new level at the end of the War Chamber event.
Following that, at Azteca Lucha, Bill Alfonso was assaulted. Now, Matt Justice is looking to seek revenge at the upcoming MLW Blood & Thunder ’24 special event.
Justice will be taking on Mads Krule Krugger in the promotion’s first-ever Three Stages of Destruction match. This match is an Extreme version of the Two out of Three Falls match type. Each match will have a unique stipulation.
MLW has also shared what the three stages will be.
“The 3 Stages of Destruction is the ultimate test of endurance and brutality, where two warriors clash in a best-of-three series with each stage escalating in danger:
Stage One: Street Fight – Weapons are encouraged, and anything goes as these titans of the ring battle it out in a no-holds-barred street fight.
Stage Two: First Blood Match – The brutality intensifies as the victor of this stage is determined by the first to make their opponent bleed.
Stage Three: Medically Evacuated – If necessary, the final stage will see the two combatants fight until one man can no longer continue and must be medically evacuated from the arena,” MLW posted.
The MLW Blood & Thunder ’24 special event will take place on July 12th at the Coliseum in Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida.
