In-Ring Segment: Drew McIntyre

McIntyre gets drowned out by CM Punk chants. In five days, McIntyre asked if the crowd was ready for a new champion. McIntyre mentions that he knows that everywhere Damian Priest goes, he has his cronies with him. Damian Priest’s music hits. Priest, Finn Bálor, and JD McDonagh walk to the ring. Priest says he doesn’t need The Judgement Day. He’s the champion because he’s Damian Priest. McIntyre says the only chance Priest has is his crew.

Priest tells McIntyre to stop making excuses. Priest announces that McIntyre can face Bálor tonight. If McIntyre wins, The Judgement Day is banned from ringside at Clash at the Castle. Bálor shoots Priest a look. If Bálor wins, The Judgement can be at ringside, front, and center. McIntyre notes he likes a man who is willing to dig his own grave. McIntyre hopes that Priest will be man enough to stand in this ring and shake his hand after he loses the title to McIntyre at Clash at the Castle.

Iyo Sky w/Damage CTRL vs. Lyra Valkyria

After a bit of back and forth, Valkyria hits the Nightwing. Kai gets involved as the referee is distracted to break up the pin. Sky reverses a DDT into a roll up for the win.

Winner- Iyo Sky

After the match, Kai and Sane attack Valkyria. Kayden Carter and Kitana Chance make the save.

Backstage, Priest questions Dominik about the hotel room key Liv Morgan left him. Dominik says it’s nothing. Bálor says there is no need to worry. The hotel room key is sitting right here. Everyone looks down, and the key is gone. Everyone is a suspect. What

LWO (Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee) w/Zelina Vega and Braun Strowman vs. The Judgement Day (Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) and Carlito

As Mysterio’s team takes over, Dominic dropkicks his father off the apron. Liv Morgan appears. Dominik rolls out of the ring to tell her to get out of here. Zelina Vega knocks Morgan off the apron on top of Dominic.

In the confusion, Lee tags in Strowman, who runs over everyone outside of the ring. Running powerslam by Strowman to Carlito. Strowman tags in Lee. Lee stands on Strowman’s shoulders and hits a splash on Carlito for the win.

Winners- LWO and Braun Strowman

Backstage, Ricochet gives Ilja Dragunov a pep talk for his match against Bron Breakker tonight. Dragonuv tells Ricochet that they need to go another round when he is done with Breakker. Ricochet says Dragunov read his mind.

Backstage, Kai asks Sky why she went nuts after the match with Valkyria. Sky rants and storms off. Kai and Sane look very confused.

In-Ring Segment: Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn

Zayn says he doesn’t even know what to call Chad Gable at this point. He’s not going to run down every nasty thing Gable has done. Zayn proclaims he is going to defeat Chad Gable at Clash at the Castle and finally put an end to all of this. Chad Gable and the rest of The Alpha Academy interrupt. Gable calls Zayn a manipulator. Zayn says The Alpha Academy is perfectly happy.

Zayn asks if Gable is out of his mind. The Alpha Academy is clearly not happy. Gable is incensed as Zayn tells The Alpha Academy they won’t be happy until they leave Gable. Gable says they are a family and will stick together no matter what. Gable shoots Otis a look. Otis frowns. Gable gets in Otis’ face and says he is unleashing the most brutal version of Otis on Zayn right now.

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn vs. Otis

Otis clobbers Zayn. Otis lands a splash. Gable tells Otis to do it again. Otis does. Gable tells Otis to do it one more time. Otis doesn’t. Gable hops up on the apron and tells Otis to listen to him, calling Otis an idiot. Gable hops off the apron. Zayn surprises Otis with a Helluva Kick for the win.

Winner- Sami Zayn

After the match, Gable attacks Zayn. Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa check on Otis. Gable kicks them out of the ring. Gable holds Zayn and tells Otis to attack. Otis doesn’t. Gable slaps Otis repeatedly. Otis tries to clothesline Gable but hits Zayn. Otis drops Zayn with the World’s Strongest Slam. Gable celebrates. Otis gets in Gable’s face. Gable falls into the corner. Gable cowers while Otis holds up his fist. Otis thinks better of it and rolls out of the ring. Gable smiles as Otis storms off.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are out next to join commentary for the upcoming match.

Alba Fyre and Ilsa Dawn vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

Fyre and Dawn work over Baszler’s injured knee as soon as the match starts. Baszler fires up and traps Fyre in the Kirifuda Clutch. Dawn passes out.

Winners- Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

Ilja Dragunov vs. Bron Breakker

After a back and forth, Breakker ground and pounds Dragunov. Dragunov lands a lariat, but Breakker doesn’t go down. Powerslam by Breakker. Dragunov runs into a flying knee by Breakker. Dragunov bounces off the ropes and hits the Constantine Special. Diving Knee by Dragunov. Dragunov lands a series of German suplexes. Dragunov favors his neck with each suplex. Regal clutch suplex hold by Dragunov. Breakker kicks out. Dragonuv escapes the pop-up powerslam by Breakker. Dragunov hits a DVD into the corner.

Dragunov hits a coast-to-coast on Breakker. Breakker rolls out of the corner. Dragunov hits a senton bomb off the top. Breakker kicks out again. Breakker hits a Steinerline. Dragunov counters Breakker’s Spear with a leaping knee strike. H-Bomb by Dragunov. Breakker rolls out of the ring to avoid getting covered. Dragunov boots Breakker clear across the commentary desk.

Breakker counters Dragunov’s suplex attempt with a gourd buster on the commentary desk. Dragunov screams in pain as Breakker drives him into the barricade and ring post. Dragunov tries to fire back. Breakker cuts him in half with a Spear. Dragunov rolls out of the ring. Breakker Spears Dragunov outside the ring. Breakker tosses Dragunov back into the ring and hits another Spear for the win.

Winner- Bron Breakker

After the match, Breakker tries to Spear Dragunov outside the ring for a second time, but Ricochet appears out of nowhere and lands a diving clothesline off the barricade.

WWE World Tag Team Championship Match: The Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz) (c) vs. The Authors of Pain w/The Final Testament

As the AoP take control, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods run down to ringside and attack Karrion Kross. Truth hits Akam with the title belt in the confusion, but it has no effect. Truth tosses the title at Akam, who catches it. Miz rolls up Akam from behind for the win.

Winners and STILL WWE World Tag Team Champions, The Awesome Truth!

Backstage, Ricochet helps Dragunov get to the trainer’s room. Breakker Spears Dragunov into a road case. Ricochet and Breakker brawl. Breakker lawn darts Ricochet into a trailer. Breakker Powerslams Ricochet onto the windshield of a car. Officials run in and check on Ricochet.

After the break, Ring Announcer Samantha Irvin, Ricochet’s fiancé, gets in the ambulance with Ricochet as he’s taken to a local medical facility.

Pat McAfee fills in as the ring announcer for the main event.

Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Bálor (If McIntyre wins, The Judgement Day is banned from ringside at Clash at the Castle)

After the break, Bálor works over McIntyre’s arm. McIntyre tries a powerslam. Bálor reverses it into a DDT. Armbar by Bálor. McIntyre gets to his feet and turns the armbar into a powerbomb. McIntyre fires up and tosses Bálor all over the ring with overhead throws. Bálor counters the Claymore with a slingblade. McIntyre rolls out of the ring.

Dive by Bálor. Bálor lands multiple dropkicks on McIntyre’s arm. Bálor goes up top. McIntyre cuts Bálor off and lands a superplex. Future shock DDT by McIntyre. Damian Priest storms down to ringside and hops on the apron. Carlito and JD McDonagh hope on the apron. McIntyre knocks both men down. Claymore to McDonagh. Bálor misses a double stomp. McIntyre drops Bálor with a Claymore for the win.
