The following matches and segments are from the May 31 episode of TNA Xplosion.
The show opens with a “From The Vault” match. It shows a four-way X-Division number one contenders match from the first-ever episode of TNA Impact. It saw AJ Styles battle Chris Sabin, Elix Skipper and Michael Shane, for a shot at the X-Division title the following week.
In a fast-paced match, AJ Styles pinned Michael Shane to win the match and earn a title shot the following week.
They followed this with “Around The Ring” with Gia Miller. She was joined by former TNA World Champion Sami Callihan. The pair discussed Miller’s new hairdo, with Callihan criticizing her new bangs. They then discussed shoes, socks and sandals, and the former NXT star tried to steal Gia Miller’s shoes.
This was followed by the “In Case You Missed It” segment. TNA Xplosion replayed Eddie Edwards vs Joe Hendry from this weeks Impact. The bout saw Nic and Ryan Nemeth fighting off “The System” to help Joe Hendry pin Edwards to pick up the win.
This leads us to the main event, and only live match, of TNA Xplosion.

Young played the wily veteran to the young, overconfident Angels. The former AEW star used flips and high-flying moves, but the power and experience of Eric Young put him on to.
The former TNA World Champion hit Angels with a piledriver to end the short match, picking up the win in the main event of TNA Xplosion.
