Tony Khan provided updates on former AEW Women’s World Champions Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter.
Britt Baker has been absent from AEW programming since the September 16, 2023, episode of AEW Collison. Jamie Hayter has not wrestled since she lost the AEW Women’s World Championship to Toni Storm at AEW Double or Nothing in May 2023.
Speaking with Raj Prashad of UpRoxx, Tony Khan commented on their absences. He made it clear that he was looking forward to their returns.
“Dr. Britt Baker is one of our original stars and she’s been out injured for an extended period of time. I’m very eager to get Britt back here,” Khan said. “She’s somebody that’s been part of AEW all along. And we’d love to have her back in the mix very soon.
“Her longtime friend, and also a former AEW Women’s world champion Jamie Hayter has also been out for an extended period of time with injury. Jamie Hayter’s timetable is still pending. But I think having Jamie Hayter back in AEW would be fantastic. And I would love to have Jamie Hayter back working in AEW anytime and whenever she’s healthy and capable of doing it would be great for us.”
As of this writing, there is no word on when Britt Baker or Jamie Hayter will return to AEW. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
