Jordynne Grace almost got that Evander Holyfield deal.
Thursday night’s episode of TNA iMPACT! featured a match between Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace and Marti Belle of The Hex. During the match, Grace had part of her ear ripped out due to her earring getting caught on Marti’s tights.
Grace spoke with TNA Digital after the match, showing off the spot where her flat piercing was ripped out of the top of her ear. The Hex also cut a promo and showed off the “trophy” they took from Grace.
At the time, Grace also “stole back” the tights and earrings. She told fans on Twitter that she was auctioning them off on eBay. A listing was created, but it has since been removed.
“Stole these back because if I’m gonna lose my favorite earring and piece of my ear, I need to be compensated for it,” Grace wrote in a now-deleted post featuring the auction link.
“She’s a pioneer”
Jordynne Grace recently sat down with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. She reflected on her Royal Rumble appearance and hopes WWE returns the favor by sending Natalya to wrestle her in TNA.
“I’m still waiting for Natalya to come over,” Jordynne Grace said. “That’s one of my dream matches. She’s someone I watched growing up, and she’s never really been outside of WWE for the past two decades. She’s a pioneer, and I want to wrestle her in TNA.”
Natalya seems like she is on board too, as she named Grace as one of the women she’d like to work with during a recent interview with WrestleZone.
