QT Marshall prefers working in the office to wrestling in AEW.
The former Factory leader left AEW last year, citing changes in the company for his reason for exiting. However, he was rehired just months later, but in a backstage capacity instead of as an on-screen talent.
He now wrestles all over the world. Marshall has been a champion in Mexico and the United States, and currently holds the CCW World Heavyweight Championship.
QT Marshall spoke with XeniaDidThat about his recent work in CCW. She asked about the biggest difference between working in AEW and in CCW.
Marshall replied that working in the ring and in the office in AEW was stressful, and that’s he glad to just hold his office job for now.
“The biggest difference for me, transitioning from AEW to working with CCW on the indies, was significant. Working in the office and in the ring simultaneously was quite challenging, as I always tried to prioritize what was best for the company. Now, with CCW, I have the freedom to focus on what’s best for me. I can be more authentic and do what I love, which includes working with younger talent to help them gain more experience.”
“I actually wrestled for CCW back in 2007-2008 when I first started, so coming back here and being able to contribute feels great. My goal is to help build this brand and showcase what CCW has to offer, because they truly have something special going on. I’m proud to say that since I’ve joined, every show has broken our previous attendance records.”
“When I go to AEW now, I just bring my computer and work in the office there. There’s no stress, and I can have all my fun here. It’s excellent.”
