Orange Cassidy shared some sad news on AEW Dynamite.
In recent weeks, the Best Friends have fallen apart, as Trent Beretta turned on Orange Cassidy. He then forced his tag team partner, Chuck Taylor, to pick a side. Taylor chose to side with Cassidy on the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite. He faced Beretta in a Parking Lot Fight on the April 27 episode of AEW Rampage. Beretta scored the win in a brutal match. After the bout, Beretta smashed Taylor’s leg.
On the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy came out and said that he hoped that the three of them would be able to come together again. However, he admitted that this outcome would not be happening. Cassidy revealed that he had been told that, due to Beretta’s attack, Taylor would never wrestle again.
Beretta came out and said it was all Cassidy’s fault, as his selfishness was the reason for what happened to Taylor. Cassidy charged at Beretta, but officials separated them. Don Callis came out and spoke with Cassidy. They then walked away together.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
