According to a new report, Marigold is set to work with WWE, and Giulia is likely to be involved.
STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa recently launched a new promotion in Marigold and said he would want to invite WWE stars to be a part of it. This came after Ogawa was backstage at the SmackDown ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40, and he was said to have met with WWE officials.
In an update, Dave Meltzer reported about the working agreement between the two promotions in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He wrote that WWE flew Giulia and Ogawa out to WrestleMania to make a deal. Meltzer also stated that Ogawa is trying to get WWE’s IYO SKY and Kairi Sane for a Marigold event this summer.
As for Giulia, Meltzer writes that it has not been finalized due to visa issues, but she is expected to work for WWE and Marigolf before she eventually moves to the United States. Regardless, the report notes that Marigold “is expecting to work with WWE” so that Giulia can appear on a few of their big shows every year.
Additionally, the report clarifies that it is unclear whether the working relationship has been finalized. However, the two companies have a relationship of some sort. Meltzer also notes that there were talks back in late 2023 about Ogawa and Triple H potentially working together.
