Matt Cardona is “Alwayz Ready” to make a big comeback in the world of professional wrestling.
The self-proclaimed Indy God, Matt Cardona, recently revealed that he suffered a torn pectoral muscle that would require surgery.
The Death Match King stated on social media that while he can’t wrestle for the time being, he would still be available for autograph signings and appearances.
“I tore my pec in a match on Saturday. I’ll be getting surgery. There is no good time to get injured…but this certainly isn’t a good time. I have to keep moving forward…there’s no other option. I can’t wrestle but I’m still available for autograph signings and appearances. Bookmattcardona@gmail.com I’m #AlwayzReady for a comeback!” Matt Cardona said in a post.
In a positive update, Matt Cardona returned to social media to announce that his surgery was successful. He thanked his wife, Chelsea Green, for staying by his side and everyone who had reached out to him. Cardona also thanked Dr. Daryl Osbahr for successfully fixing his pectoral muscle, tweeting out:
“Surgery done. The road to recovery starts now. Thanks to all who reached out, thanks to @ImChelseaGreen for being by my side. Thanks to @DarylOsbahrMD for fixing me. You can’t kill me… I’m already dead,” Matt Cardona said in a post.
While the Death Match King will be out of action for several months, Cardona recently expressed his interest in wrestling Mick Foley in a Death Match.
We at Wrestlezone wish Cardona a speedy recovery.
