Ricky Starks says he doesn’t know if HOOK needs a mentor, and he says he should turn down Chris Jericho‘s offer.
In recent weeks, Chris Jericho has been trying to take FTW Champion HOOK under his wing. Ricky Starks was previously locked in a lengthy feud with Jericho and the Jericho Appreciation Society, so he has plenty of experience with the veteran.
Speaking with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Ricky Starks was asked to comment on Jericho recruiting HOOK.
“HOOK’s the man, ain’t he? HOOK’s really cool,” Ricky Starks said. “I don’t know if HOOK needs someone to take him under his wing. Don’t forget, his father is Taz. So if I was HOOK, I would politely decline Jericho’s offer and go talk to his dad, or me.”
HOOK and Chris Jericho are set for a segment with Taz on the April 17 episode of AEW Dynamite.
