WWE Announces Shakeup To Talent Relations Department

Dan Ventrelle is no longer with WWE.

Aaron Varble of SEScoops and Fightful Select both confirmed on April 11 that WWE has removed Dan Ventrelle from his role as Executive Vice President of Talent. Ventrelle, who was the former Las Vegas Raiders President, was hired in September 2022.

Additionally, PWInsider is reporting that Trent Wilfinger, who served as Senior Vice President of Athlete ID and Development, also departed on April 11. He joined the company in the summer of 2021 and worked under Paul Levesque.

Further details behind the departures were not provided, however a memo sent out by WWE President Nick Khan confirmed that Chris Legentil, who works in communications, and Matt Altman, who works in marketing, will be helping to lead a new, reorganized Talent Relations group.

Talent Development and Recruiting departments will now report to Shawn Michaels, while all of Talent, including Talent Relations, Development and Recruiting, will continue reporting to Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

Below is the memo Khan sent out in its entirety:

“WWE has begun the process of reorganizing its Talent Relations group. Moving forward, Chris Legentil, in addition to his role in Comms, will help us in leading this new group. Matt Altman, in addition to his role in marketing, will be working closely with Chris to help this endeavor.

Talent Development and Recruiting will now report to Shawn Michaels.

All of Talent, which includes Talent Relations, Development and Recruiting will continue to ultimately report into Paul Levesque.

As of today, Dan Ventrelle will be moving on from WWE. We thank Dan for his tremendous contributions.

Sincerely, Nick Khan.”

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
