Jade Cargill has officially signed with WWE SmackDown, which sets up a number of potential dream matches on Friday nights alone. Meanwhile, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley from WWE RAW already has her eyes on the newcomer.
Ripley recently spoke to Ariel Helwani of MMA Hour and noted that she is impressed by the former AEW TBS Champion.
“Yeah, I am. Jade Cargill, she is amazing,” Ripley said. “I’ll give her her props. She is aesthetically pleasing and is a force to be reckoned with. She looks amazing, she is amazing, she works amazingly. Her promo work is amazing. Everything about her screams ‘superstar.’ When that time comes, obviously, I would love to step into the ring with her. I feel like that’s a money match.”
Ripley added. “I feel like we have to wait for the perfect moment and the perfect stage. Whether that’s WrestleMania next year, WrestleMania the next two years, the next three years. We’ll have to wait for that, but I’m impressed, I am.”
Cargill is set to make her WrestleMania debut this Saturday when she teams with Naomi and Bianca Belair to battle Damage CTRL in a six-woman tag bout.
