Jessie Godderz Is Confirmed For Season 2 Of House Of Villains

Jessie Godderz has swapped the wrestling ring for the TV studio.

The former TNA World Tag Team Champion currently wrestles for OVW, having left TNA in 2017 after his most significant run in wrestling. He won the tag team championship twice with his partners Robbie E and DJZ in TNA, and he’s a multi-time champion in OVW too.

Jessie Godderz has been confirmed as the latest contestant on E!’s reality show House of Villains. The show is in its second season and features 10 of reality television’s most memorable and notorious villains.

They compete for a $200,000 cash prize and the title of America’s Ultimate Supervillain. He is joined by nine other contestants, with the show hosted by Community star Joel McHale.

In a Twitter post, E! Entertainment revealed the contestants for the show. This included Jessie Godderz, who last wrestled for OVW last month.

Godderz replied to the announcement on Twitter.

“Who, me? Am I the villain? Here to stir the pot and keep things hot on #HouseofVillains season 2 coming this fall on @eentertainment!”

This is not Jessie Godderz first foray into reality television. He appeared on season 10 and 11 of Big Brother, and has made sporadic surprise returns to the show in recent years. He’s also the host of “Whacked Out Sports” on Tubi.

Godderz recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. When asked about Dixie Carter recently appearing on OVW TV, Godderz spoke about Carter giving him his first big opportunity in the wrestling industry.

“I mean, I love Dixie. She gave me a shot,” Jessie Godderz said. “She gave me a huge opportunity herself. And it’s one of those people that you try to stick around the people that you like first and foremost in relationships in business and stuff like that.

“You keep around individuals that are like-minded or have your best interests in mind because they’re far and few between, and Dixie is one of those individuals. I asked her of a favor, which we’ll get into maybe later in a couple months, like that’ll get released and stuff, but to see her and to, like you said whether it’s a rub, whether it’s helping OVW whether it’s helping the promotion of wrestlers, all of that kind of came to fruition only because Al Snow.

“It was definitely by design if I had to guess. And it was awesome. It’s awesome that she was a part of that. I can’t thank her enough. Because, like you said it kind of sent like a shockwave and another burst of instantaneous recognition for OVW once again like you’re saying.”
