OTT ScrapperMania 8 has been announced.
Over The Top Wrestling revealed the date and location of their yearly show. ScapperMania is OTT’s biggest show of the year and its equivalent to WrestleMania or All In.
On Twitter, the company revealed that ScrapperMania 8 will take place on August 10th 2024. It will be held in Ireland’s capital city of Dublin.
The event will take place at the Dublin National Stadium. It is the world’s only purpose-built boxing stadium, which makes it the ideal venue for a pro-wrestling event.
With a capacity of 2000, this is one of the company’s biggest-ever shows. If they can sell out the stadium, then it will be one of the biggest shows ever to take place in Ireland.
Previous editions of the event have been star-studded, and this is expected to be no different. Stars like Gunther, Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and Tyler Bate have previously wrestled at the event. Given this, so you can expect to see other top stars from outside the WWE wrestling.
Last year’s event took place in March 2023, and saw some of the biggest stars of the UK indie scene appearing. Michael Oku, Kid Lykos, Gabe Kidd and Man Like DeReiss wrestled on the show, alongside international stars like PAC and Trent Seven.
Jon Moxley was supposed to be a part of the show. However, he was pulled at the last minute due to an appearance for AEW.
B Cool Will Challenge For the OTT World Championship at ScrapperMania 8
While nothing has been officially announced, we do know one match that will take place at ScrapperMania 8
B Cool will challenge for the OTT World Championship at this event, as he was the winner of the first ever OTT Loco Rumble in January. If Trent Seven retains the World Championship between now and August, he will defend it against B Cool in Dublin at ScrapperMania.
Seven has recently been wrestling in TNA, but will likely return to Ireland for the OTT show.
