Grizzled Young Vets vs. Braxton Hunter & Richard Adonis
- Zack Gibson pinned Richard Adonis after a Grit Your Teeth
The first match of this week’s TNA Xplosion was a fairly standard squash bout. It featured two English stars in Zack Gibson and James Drake, wrestling as the team Grizzled Young Veterans. They dominated the bout, cutting off their opponent from partner and grinding his down with big strikes and double team moves. They won the bout after hitting Adonis with a Grit Your Teeth, which is a double-team Codebreaker move.
TNA then showed Mustafa Ali defeating Chris Sabin for the X-Division Championship at TNA Sacrifice.

Trent Seven vs. Trey Miguel
Trent Seven pinned Trey Miguel after a Birminghammer
In a short, fun match that main evented the show, Trent Seven picked up a win on TNA Xplosion. Seven looked to have had Miguel beaten at one point. However, Zachary Wentz moved his foot onto the rope at the last minute, saving his chances in the match.
Miguel tried cheating to win by putting his foot on the ropes, but “Speedball” Mikey Bailey pushed them off to keep Seven in the bout. A fun ending sequence saw Seven kick out of a DDT, before hitting a Birminghammer (a Burning Hammer) to win the short match.

Oleg Prudius Revealed Why He Returned To Wrestling
Oleg Prudius recently returned to wrestling with TNA, and he spoke during a recent virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest (via POST Wrestling) to explain the reasons.
The former Vladmir Kozlov explained how he missed wrestling, even when he left to become an acotr.
“It’s still in my blood. I miss action.And plus I have so many friends in TNA with my former partner Santino Marella. You know what is a funny story? Because when I was involved in production for movie ‘The Wrecker’, TNA made a show in Las Vegas (in 2023) and everybody said, ‘Oleg, come over. Let’s sit down, talk, meet’ and after, we got some idea, maybe somehow, I would be involved in wrestling and in the future days, make a cross-promotion between wrestling and movies. Because I feel like lots of wrestlers, performers from TNA, they can become huge actors because they can do stunt, they can perform and they have the skills (in acting). Yeah.”
