The first official match at AEW Dynasty has been confirmed, and it’ll be Bryan Danielson stepping into the ring against Will Ospreay.
During Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, the pair of high-profile superstars agreed to face off against one another in what promises to be a dream match for fans. In the ring, Ospreay praised Danielson for being “the bar” for wrestling, and thanked him for all he’s done in the industry.
Danielson likewise praised Ospreay, welcoming him to the company and saying that if he hopes to call himself the best of the best, he’s going to need to prove it against Danielson in the ring.
AEW Dynasty will be held at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday, April 21. This will be the inaugural Dynasty event and AEW’s first pay-per-view in April.
