She recently revealed her latest wrestling gear and mentioned that it was inspired by Taylor Swift.

Gisele Shaw loves working in a Forward-thinking company like TNA Wrestling

The former PROGRESS Wrestling Women’s Champion is also a Trans-woman. But she has always tried her best to ensure that being a trans-woman in professional wrestling is never the only reason she is known for. During a recent interview with Wrestlezone’s Editor-in-Chief Bill Pritchard, Gisele Shaw mentioned that she’s happy to be a part of TNA Wrestling as they are promoting diversity and equality. Shaw also shared that her gender is not a major concern in the company and ‘Gisele Shaw’ the wrestler is the one that is being promoted.

“I feel like at IMPACT Wrestling, TNA Wrestling, everyone is so diverse,” Gisele Shaw said. “The company is so diverse. They really promote diversity and equality. That’s why they gave the Knockouts the platform that other companies didn’t way back when.

“They’re very forward-thinking, and it’s great that me being a trans-woman is just being put on the back burner because I feel like that’s not really the main thing about me. I’m a wrestler, first and foremost. Being a trans woman is just a part of me; that’s not who I am. So I feel like people now are realizing that if they want to judge me, they’re judging me by the body of work that I’m doing and not just for who I am.”
