A new report suggests that Alex Hammerstone is expected to return to TNA in the near future.
Former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone entered free agency in January after he wrapped up with Major League Wrestling. He made his TNA debut at TNA Hard To Kill on January 13, where he lost to Josh Alexander. As of this writing, he has yet to return to the company. He has since remained active on the independent scene.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Alex Hammerstone is expected back in TNA “sooner than later.” Per Johnson, Hammerstone is booked for TNA Sacrifice on March 8, and the company has “great interest” in signing him. However, it is unclear whether the two sides have agreed to a deal.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
