One of the most popular female stars in the world of professional wrestling is Thunder Rosa. Throughout her professional wrestling career, she has made it her mission to make her people and her culture proud. Rosa also recently released a music video. The former AEW Women’s World Champion sent a heartfelt message to her fans.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion took to Twitter to share a bunch of pictures with fans, including one she had met back in 2017. She also shared a most recent picture with the same fan. Thunder Rosa was so proud of the young fan and was happy to be an inspiration for the younger generation.
“Trust me when I tell you, you never know who you are inspiring and influential you can be in someone’s life. I met this beautiful girl in 2017, I have seen her grow, mature and become a strong and beautiful woman who believes in her inner and outer beauty and who is also very proud of her heritage. To all the Cecilia’s out there… Love and embrace who you are, your beauty and your heritage. Don’t let others take your shine away! Love you my little thunders,” Thunder Rosa tweeted.
Thunder Rosa on returning to in-ring action
Thunder Rosa was forced to relinquish her AEW Women’s World Championship due to an injury. Late last month, the Unbreakable One made her return to singles action. Following her match, Rosa shared her thoughts on getting back to wrestling in the singles division.
“You seriously asking me that question? I left as a champion, and you’re asking me how do I feel to be back in the ring? I’ve been walking in the shadows for a long, long time,” Thunder Rosa said. “All of you girls say that you’re walking in the darkness, that you are lost, that you don’t get an opportunity. I was on the top of my career, and life and circumstances took away from me. Now, I have to come and work from the bottom to get back to the top.
“I’ve been waiting for you guys to ask me a question. Where were you when I needed you guys? Where were you, to ask me the real questions? How I feel about being in the ring? I feel strong, I feel empowered, I feel like I never left. I never left. Just remember that.”
