This week’s WWE NXT featured the first semi-finals match of the 2024 NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Despite their differences, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker proved to be a dominant powerhouse team against the duo of Axiom and Nathan Frazer. At one point, Breakker slammed Axiom onto Frazer, who had Corbin grounded in a submission.
In the closing moments, Axiom hit a Spanish Fly on Breakker off the top, while Frazer landed a Phoenix Splash that was broken up by Corbin. Corbin then hit Axiom with End of Days before Breakker caught Frazer off guard with a spear for the victory.
The January 30 episode of NXT will feature LWO’s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro vs. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. The winner of that bout will then face Breakker and Corbin in the finals.

- NXT Championship: Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Trick Williams
- NXT Women’s Championship: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Roxanne Perez
