TNT Championship: Christian Cage (c) (with Killswitch and Nick Wayne) vs. Dustin Rhodes

Cage and Rhodes feel each other out early on, and the two veterans are evenly matched. Christisn briefly gains the upper hand. Rhodes hits a scoop slam, prompting Cage to head outside. Rhodes slams Cage into the barricade and slams him onto the commentary table. Back in the ring, Rhodes continues to control the action. Cage sends Rhodes to the outside and dives onto him. Cage gets Rhodes back in the ring and continues to control the action.

Rhodes rallies and gains the advantage. He gets a two-count with a Destroyer. Cage chokes Rhodes in the ropes. He snaps Rhodes’ neck on the ropes and gets a two-count with a frog splash. Cage goes to hit Rhodes with the title, but the referee sotps him. Rhodes rolls Cage up, and while the referee isn’t looking, Wayne sneaks in and tips the roll-up into a pin attempt for Cage. Rhodes rallies and hits the Unnatural Kick. Dustin hits the Crossrhodes for a two-count. Wayne interferes, and Killswitch goes to attack Rhodes, but Dustin takes Wayne down with a Destroyer.

Cage hits a Spear and a Killswitch for a near fall. He hits a second Killswitch for the win.

Swerve Strickland’s Mission Continues On AEW Dynamite

In an interview, Swerve Strickland makes it clear that he has his eyes on the main event, no matter who wins, as he wants the world title. He says he is the most dangerous man coming after the most coveted prize in the industry. When asked about Hangman Page, he highlights Page’s success but noted that Hangman could not beat him. Swerve says he has no reason to do it again.

Backstage, Chris Jericho is asked about his loss at AEW Battle of the Belts IX, where Big Bill and Ricky Starks beat him and Ricky Starks. He says that Jericho is hurt, so he is not there tonight. Jericho blames Powerhouse Hobbs and Konosuke Takeshita and makes it clear that he wants revenge. Matt Sydal interrupts and challenges Jericho to a match. He accepts and names AEW Rampage as the place.

Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta (with Chuck Taylor) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo & Komander (with Rey Fenix & Alex Abrahantes)

Cassidy and Penta start the bout. They go back and forth, and the match is a stalemate early on. Penta drills Cassidy with a kick. Trent and Komander tag in, and Komander takes flight with a dive. Trent drops him with a half-and-half suplex. Cassidy and Berretta isolate Komander. Beretta slams him into the barricade and keeps him grounded. Cassidy and Beretta floor Komander with a double suplex. Komander rallies and dumps Beretta over the ropes. Penta tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense.

Komander dives onto Beretta at ringside. Penta gets a two-count with the Made in Japan on Cassidy. Cassidy takes Penta down with a DDT and tags Trent. Penta spikes Trent with a Destroyer. Komander dives off the ropes and gets a two-count. Trent rocks Komander with a knee strike. Cassidy hits Penta with the Beach Break. He hits the Orange Punch on Komander. Trent pins him for the win.

After the bell, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett of the Undisputed Kingdom come to the ring. Strong says Cassidy has been a fighting champion, but he decided to compete in a tag team match tonight. He wonders if Cassidy is afraid that he has nothing left in the tank. He asks if Cassidy is afraid that the title belongs to him. Strong says the title belongs to him, and he’s here to make Cassidy face it. Cassidy accepts the challenge, but Strong says he’ll have to wait until AEW Revolution.

Mark Briscoe Honors Jay Briscoe On AEW Dynamite

Mark Briscoe comes to the stage on the anniversary of Jay Briscoe’s death. He comments on his brother’s passing and notes that Jay’s daughters were in the car crash. He says his oldest niece was told she would never walk again, but the two girls come out. Mark says “We Dem Boys”, we will never stop, and we’re never going anywhere. Mark thanks everyone and says “God bless y’all.”

In an interview, Renee Paquette speaks with the Young Bucks. They request to be called Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, as they are EVPs, and it’s for that to be taken more seriously. They reference the rumors about them, and they emphasize they would do anything to protect what they built.

Matthew looks back on the beginning of AEW and notes that it was old with the old and in with the new. He admits that the culture changed somewhere along the way, and they leaned too much on yesterday. White squares off with Liona. Liona gains the upper hand. Kaun and Liona double-team White. The Gunns take control. Cage rocks Austin with a kick. He dumps Austin with a German suplex. The champions isolate Austin Gunn and continue to control the action.

They maintain the advantage. Colten tags in and clears house, but the champions take control again. In the end, Anthony Bowens gets involved, and Bullet Club Gold scores the win.

Deonna Purrazzo Makes AEW Dynamite In-Ring Debut

AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm comes to ringside and joins the commentary team. Purrazzo gains the upper hand. They trade pin attempts. Jay hits a neckbreaker in the ropes. Jay grounds Purrazzo and controls the action. She dumps Purrazzo with a snap suplex. Purrazzo fires up, but Jay takes control again. They go back and forth. Purrazzo takes Jay down and makes her tap out.

Winner: Deonna Purrazzo

In an interview after the match, Deonna Purrazzo sends a message to Toni Storm, as she says they used to be like sisters. She says they have both changed. Purrazzo says Storm has never met “The Virtuosa”. Storm interrupts and gets on Lutha’s shoulders. She calls her an artificially tanned hag. Storm tells Purrazzo to watch out for the show and throws it at her. Purrazzo throws it back.

Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin) vs. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

The two teams feel each other out. Quen and Dante battle for positioning. Private Party double-teams Dante. Kassidy takes Darius down with a modified cutter. They double-team Dante and maintain the advantage. Quen and Kassidy isolate Dante. Dante sends Quen crashing to the floor and tags Darius. Darius fires up with a flurry of offense. Top Flight controls the action. Kassidy fights his way free. Quen tags in and dives onto Darius. He dives over the ropes onto Dante and hits Darius with another dive. He dives onto Darius again.

Quen hits a 450 Splash. Top Flight hits Quen with a some tandem offense. Darius rocks Kassidy with a kick. Quen takes him down with a dropkick. Bodies are flying, and Kassidy drills Dante with a kick. Private Party hits Gin and Juice on Dante. Quen pins Darius and holds onto the ropes for the win.

HOOK immediately takes the fight to Joe. The match spills to the outside. HOOK vaults off the barricade and dives onto Joe. Joe gets HOOK backs in the ring and rocks him with a back elbow. He unloads with a flurry of strikes. HOOK fires up, but Joe slams HOOK through the broadcast table.

Joe adds insult to injury by powerbominb HOOK onto the apron. The ringside doctor checks on HOOK. HOOK gets back into the ring, and Joe hits a snap powerslam. Joe gets a two-count with a Death Valley Driver. Joe hits a Muscle Buster for a one-count.

HOOK rallies with a flurry of offense. He suplexes Joe over his head. Joe blocks the Redrum and locks in the Coquina Clutch. HOOK’s arm falls three times, and the referee calls for the bell.

HOOK gets back to his feet and talks some trash. Joe attacks him and hits a Muscle Buster. HOOK gets up again and asks for more. Joe gets back in the ring, but Hangman Page runs down. Joe leaves the ring. Page stares Joe down. Swerve Strickland is shown in the crowd, and he watches on. He and Page briefly stare each other down, and Strickland walks away. Page checks on HOOK and helps him up. HOOK walks to the back as the show comes to an end.
