Carlito knows what he wants to do in the future.
2023 marked the year that Carlito returned to WWE with surprise appearances at Backlash in Puerto Rico and later at Fastlane to become a full-time WWE superstar again. With 2024 underway, Carlito recently spoke to TNT Sports about what his new goals are for this year.
“Probably to help out the younger guys,” Carlito said. “Help them develop and become bigger stars. I think that’s my main goal. Now I’m one of the elder statesmen, I think it’s my job now to get the future of the business ready, teach them what I know and help them become better stars because I can’t do the stuff they do now. It’s crazy all the athletic things they can do. Now, it’s just helping them put all of it together so they can really connect with an audience.”
Carlito is currently featured on WWE SmackDown as a member of the Latino World Order.
