Rey Mysterio still isn’t giving up on his son Dominik, hoping that he hopes his son eventually will find his way.
During tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, which served as a look back at the past year, Rey was interviewed in a brief segment. He was asked about Dominik, and said that he hopes his child “finds his way” at some point, but is proud of him nonetheless.
“Deep down inside, I give him credit for what he’s accomplished,” Mysterio said. “He’s my son, he turned his back on me. But overall, his growth in that ring has been tremendous, and I can’t take that away from him. And he’s doing an incredible job as the person he wants to be.”
Mysterio also briefly touched on Santos Escobar, the former friend who also turned his back on Mysterio, and led to him being injured. Despite the pride he feels for Dominik and the friendship he once had with Santos, Mysterio said that they are both on his “list” for 2024, so it seems like Rey has his eyes set on getting some revenge against both stars.
