AJ Francis lands another big money deal.
Francis announced he signed an agreement with Cheez-It to represent the MVP title at the 2024 Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Cheez-It is the presenting sponsor of this year’s game, which features the Iowa Hawkeyes taking on the Tennessee Volunteers.
“January 1st… Issa New Year… & WE OUT$IDE… @cheezit signed me to represent the MVP title at the @CitrusBowl as @HawkeyeFootball takes on @Vol_Football in Orlando on New Years Day,” Francis wrote on Twitter. “Ya favorite wrestler couldn’t host a JV game. #CitrusBowl #CheezIt #WeOutside”
Francis mentioned the new gig during a recent interview with MuscleMan Malcolm.
“Cheez-It, they reached out to me. I’m hosting the Citrus Bowl on January 1 for Cheez-It. They reached out to me because of who I am, OK? They reached out to me. So, I am about big money deals. That’s what I’m here for.”
The plan is for Francis to present the Citrus Bowl game’s MVP with his own MVP title belt and do some social media promotion leading into the game. The first promo was shared by the Citrus Bowl earlier this afternoon:
