Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo have returned to WWE SmackDown.
On the December 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, Santos Escobar faced Bobby Lashley in a quarterfinal match in the WWE United States Championship Tournament. They clashed in a hard-fought match, but the arrival of two masked men tipped the scales in Escobar’s favor. They helped the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion beat Lashley.
After the bell, the masked men revealed themselves to be Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo. They then celebrated with Escobar.
Santos Escobar then commented on the alliance on Twitter. He seemingly named the trio the Legado World Order.
Garza and Carrillo returned to NXT in June. They had sparingly been used on the main roster before that, as Garza competed in a battle royal in May while Humberto had not wrestled since the Andre the Giant Battle Royal in April. Angel and Humberto were in the NXT Tag Team Championship picture, but they failed to win the gold. They last wrestled on the November 28 episode of NXT, where they lost to Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacka” Lorenzo.
