While the year may be coming to an end, one particular rivalry seems to have just begun to boil up. It is the feud between rising star Eddy Thorpe and Dijak.
Ever since ditching the T-Bar gimmick, Dijak has made it a mission to eliminate everyone he sees in his path. However, when it comes to opportunities to capture championship gold, he seems to fumble. Be it the NXT North American Title or the NXT World Championship.
This past Saturday night he was part of the Iron Survivor Challenge at the NXT Deadline Premium Live Event. Prior to the match, the former Retribution member assured that he was going to win the match and that his opponents would be left with nothing and would be crying at the end.
Unfortunately, he was unable to win thanks to Eddy Thorpe, who cost him the match. The two stars had been feuding for months, The last time the two faced each other, it was in a Strap match and Thorpe picked up the victory. But Dijak seemed to have not been done with Thorpe.
Last night on NXT, the two faced each other once again after Thorpe’s interference at Deadline. This time around, while Thorpe did win, it was only via a disqualification. Dijak was the one who was standing tall.
After that, the former Retribution member had a message for Thorpe.
“Eddy Thorpe, you see this? You and me, we are not done by a long shot. When we are done, you are going to know we are done. Because I am going to be standing over you, and you are going to be staring up at me. And that’s when you will know this is finished,” Dijak said.
