Britt Baker says she has not had any live promo time on AEW Dynamite in 2023.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker last wrestled on the September 16 episode of AEW Collision, where Kris Statlander beat her to retain the TBS Championship. Baker has not appeared on AEW programming in recent weeks. She has reportedly been taking time away from the company following Adam Cole’s surgery on his ankle. Cole has appeared on AEW programming multiple times during his recovery.
During the November 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, Britt Baker tweeted about the amount of time MJF and Christian Cage got on Wednesday night. She noted that their promos collectively went 17 minutes. Baker then stated, across all of AEW Dynamite in 2023, she has not had any live promo time.
Throughout 2023, prior to her absence, Baker appeared in pre-taped promos on AEW TV.
Baker is one of the most renowned stars in AEW’s women’s division, and she had a memorable reign with the AEW Women’s World Championship. She also challenged for the gold at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.
