Andre Chase Says Chase U Is In Debt Due To Gambling, Misuse Of Funds On NXT

Andre Chase broke his silence on the November 28 episode of WWE NXT.

Chase U has been embroiled in a mysterious scandal in recent weeks. The controversy has proved to be costly, as the student section turned on Andre Chase and Duke Hudson during their NXT Tag Team Championship match against Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on the November 14 episode of WWE NXT. There, the Chase U duo lost the gold.

Andre Chase addressed the controversy on the November 28 episode of WWE NXT. Speaking at a press conference, he stated that Chase U was under investigation. He revealed that the investigation unveiled suspicious and illegal activity, such as gambling and the misuse of university funds. Chase stated that the university was in severe debt, and he took full responsibility. He vowed that he would work tirelessly to repay the debt as quickly as possible.

When asked, Chase stated that the specific amount did not matter, but it was significant. He said it was important to pay it back so the university could restore their activities. Chase also stated that he had his suspicions about how the gambling was leaked to the public, but he refused to speculate. Chase also admitted that if the situation wasn’t taken care of, everything they have built at Chase U would be in jeopardy. He then apologized to the student body.
