The Miz says his confidence is at an all-time high.
While speaking to Chamatkar Sandhu of TNT Sports recently, “The Awesome One” assessed his 2023 thus far and noted that he’s reached the highest level as a performer yet.
“I think I’m the best I’ve ever been,” Miz said. “I think every time I step in the ring with anyone, it can be a moment in WWE and people can look at it and go, ‘Oh wow.’ No matter what is given to me, no matter whatever opponent I’m going up against, I feel my confidence is at an all-time high, whether it’s in the ring, on the mic, or anything. I’m having a blast doing it. Like I understand who I am as a WWE superstar. I understand who The Miz is as a WWE superstar, and my goal now is to elevate everything I do when I step into that ring.”
The Miz has only won four of his televised matches in 2023 thus far. Still, despite these struggles, he is set to challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. If Miz wins, it will mark his ninth Intercontinental title reign.
WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE Survivor Series as it airs on November 25.
