WWE provided a brief update on Rey Mysterio.
On November 14, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio announced that he had successful knee surgery. Haus of Wrestling then reported that Mysterio was expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks following the surgery. He had reportedly been working through a torn meniscus for approximately three months. Mysterio last appeared on WWE programming on the November 10 episode of WWE SmackDown; there, Santos Escobar brutally attacked him.
The WWE broadcast team confirmed that Rey Mysterio will be out of action for “several months” after the surgery.
WrestleZone wishes Mysterio well, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
