Orange Cassidy is just being himself; take it or leave it.
AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy was a recent guest on Under the Ring. When asked about people who claim not to understand his character, Cassidy said he doesn’t feel the need to explain it at this point.
“The idea that someone says they don’t understand me or they don’t get me. That is an active choice,” Orange Cassidy said. “I think they choose not to; I think they completely understand what was happening. I don’t — why do I have to explain myself to people, right? Like I feel that I am going to put out the art that I’m going to do, and then if you don’t like it, or if you don’t understand it, that’s fine. That’s your thing.
“You don’t have people looking at someone’s sculpture or painting and being like, hmm, let’s have the artist stand here and tell me what they were doing. Like, that’s just ridiculous. And I do hold professional wrestling to that standard. And I think it should be, and I think we all should be.”
There is no volume to turn up for Orange Cassidy
When asked if there’s a version of Orange Cassidy with the volume turned up, Cassidy said he’s just being himself.
“Yeah, no, this is just me,” Orange Cassidy said. “There’s no turning up or turning down; this is just who I am. So I know what they say about turning yourself up. No, this is just how I am. I mean, look, this is my green screen. I don’t even know how to use it.”
