The wrestling world is excited that IMPACT Wrestling is set to rebrand itself as TNA Wrestling once again. The first event set to take place in the “new” TNA Wrestling will be the Hard To Kill pay-per-view. The event will be taking place on January 13th, 2024. It was recently announced that the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Alex Shelley will be putting his title on the line.
Last night, news broke out stating that former world champion Moose will be main-eventing Hard To Kill. He will be challenging the current champion, Alex Shelley.
The match was confirmed after Shelley successfully defended his title against Jonathan Gresham on Thursday’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling. Moose received the title shot by cashing in his Feast Or Fired briefcase.
“BREAKING: @AlexShelley313 will defend the TNA World Championship against @TheMooseNation at #HardToKill on January 13 LIVE on PPV from the Palms in Las Vegas! Get tickets and be there LIVE: http://ticketmaster.com/event/17005F5F07266D6F,” IMPACT Wrestling tweeted.
Moose’s response
Following this breaking news, Moose also took to Twitter to share a message for his fans. He claimed that he was the main reason for TNA Wrestling to make its return. He also assured that he will dethrone Shelley to become a two-time TNA World Champion.
“IM THE REASON TNA WRESTLING IS BACK AND JANUARY 13TH I BECOME 2 TIME TNA WORLD CHAMPION,” Moose tweeted.
Jordynne Grace will also be challenging Trinity for the Knockouts Championship at the same event.
