The Iron Survivor Challenge match is returning at NXT Deadline.
WWE confirmed during NXT Halloween Havoc Night 2 that the Iron Survivor Challenge match will make its return at NXT Deadline on Saturday, December 9. WWE Hall of Famers will once again have input over the course of the next month as they did last year for the inaugural bouts while qualifying matches will begin on November 7.
The Iron Survivor Challenge debuted last year with five men and five women each competing in a 25-minute match. New participants entered in five-minute intervals with the objective being to earn as many falls before the time limit. The participant with the most falls is declared the winner.
Last year, Roxanne Perez and Grayson Waller each won the inaugural Iron Survivor Challenge matches and went on to challenge for the NXT Women’s and NXT Championship, respectively.
