Ric Flair weighs in on the SmackDown stand-off between Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill.
While it’s currently unknown which WWE brand Jade Cargill will land on, the former TBS Champion has recently had the opportunity to assess the landscape of all three of WWE’s shows, leading to some interesting backstage interactions. Following her appearance on the WWE Fastlane pre-show, Cargill paid a visit to WWE NXT, where she met with Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels. Three days later, Cargill headed to SmackDown, where she ran into WWE’s most decorated women’s champion, Charlotte Flair.
Following this confrontation between Charlotte Flair and Jade, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair shared his reaction during an interview with ComicBook.com.
“Anything [Charlotte] does is money,” Ric said. “If I give you my thoughts on it, she’ll get mad because she doesn’t like me talking about it. But I mean, you heard the crowd. Sometimes, it’s meant to happen. I don’t know whether Jade is gonna spend some time at NXT or not. I’m not sure. As a father’s standpoint, as a wrestling fan, Jade don’t want nothing to do with ‘The Queen.'”
After her encounter with “The Queen,” Jade Cargill came face-to-face with “The Man” Becky Lynch on Monday’s episode of WWE RAW. There, Cargill pointed to Lynch’s NXT Women’s Championship, to which Lynch responded, “Get in line.”
